WHY THERE'S NO SAVES

nice idea of gameplay, and good selection of colors

It's like Downwell but you go up.

Really fun game! Absolutely loved it, great work!
Reminded me of Downwell and Velgress (From UFO50).

I would like the final boss to be a little bit more interesting but i really liked it. :)

This thing is insanely fun. I'd love to see it made into a full game some day.

very cool game but very short! I also wish the upgrades were randomized and not from a set you can always choose and the spread gun to work when switching sides (there's a small bug/glitch where the spread gun doesn't shoot anything when you shoot then quickly change directions)

Hi! We played your game on stream and really enjoyed it!

hello do you like tower defense, you should check my grandmother defence, it’s highly streamable

its not a vr game

well duh.

Hey I saw the gameplay of Abyss Vaulter but when I want to download it it says "No compatible Downloads found". Im on a Windows PC, so its a MacOS or Linux game right? If not then please let me know what i should do! And if its really a game for other operating systems then please bring out a version for Windows! Thanks to everyone that replys!

It's a windows game. Just download the zip and extract the files :)

Hey there, I hope you don't mind, but I featured Abyss Vaulter in the best retro-inspired games of all time.

you can also check my grandmother defence, it’s a great tower defence, i won’t say one of the best of all time, but you will enjoy it

I got speed run of 25 min! This was a great game.

you should add data saving and more levels!

Loving it! Is there a possibility of being able to save progress in the future? :)

i agree

Congrats, really nice game! I would love to see a full game, but it's pretty fun as it is. Consider a port for old consoles, something like GBA would be amazing!

Could you add controller support later?

downwell looking art style

Downwell 2: Upwell

I really liked the game, I had fun while playing, but then something bugged me and I couldn't move or shoot. And in the end, the whole playthrough went into the trash.

I like this kind of game, it's fun, but why doesn't it support controllers?

what  programming language did u use to make this game? What is CT Fusion?

It's ClickTeam Fusion 2.5. It's a game development software with a focus on visual or low-code programming.

Other words, a Wysiwyg.

Which I don't blame or mind. Some games coming from these types on environments are huge; so long as the one who made them takes full advantage of what the environment can do or at least put a twist on it.

I love the game!

If he survives this he will come out of those caves rich.

Chrome won't let me download it because it thinks its a virus.

A lot of game engines have this problem because of how the data is packed, and they generally come from an unpublished source

Love it! It gives me a feel from a NES.

Awesome game with super cute graphics! Any chance you can share the source / graphics?

This is good. I love the pixel art style. Is it possible to map controls to a dualsense controller?

Aww thanks, sadly I didn't have time to put in and debug controller support :( If I decide to make it into a full title, then that would have full controller support :)

The game is already compatible with hundreds of controllers. If you go to conflexgames.com, there's a special version of JoyToKey that's optimized to work well in a living room (in case you'd like that).

Which game engine has been used to develop the game? Great work btw!

Thanks I'm glad ye liked, it was made using CT Fusion :)

Great concept so far you on a good track

Aww thanks for the kind words! ^-^
